 (1) Monday Night Live - An evening of Bible Study, prayer, and fellowship for adults, which takes place at Pastor Marc's home (420-79 Street SW) every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. Call 780-914-4860 or email marc@lifesaverfellowship.com for more information. Fall kick off is Monday Sept. 10th. (2) Sherwood Park Home Group - This is an additional care group that will have its first meeting on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 7 pm at the Sherwood Park Montana's restaurant . The first meeting will be a get-to-know one another night, as well as a time to discuss the group's future. Everyone is welcome to check it out! During breakfast, the men spend time discussing issues related to marriage and the family, accountability issues, and other relevant topics. Contact Pastor Marc for more information. (4) Groovy Grinds Cafe- LSF's coffee house, called "Groovy Grinds Cafe," happens @ LSF once every other month. The coffee house is a comfortable & relaxing place where people meet to talk, play games, drink coffee, and listen to live bands! Check out the GROOVY GRINDS page for more details. Past events have included: - camping trips - YC (youth conference) - progressive dinners - bottle drives & other fund raisers - "Table talk" (Bible Study) (6) LSF also does various monthly church get-togethers. Examples of past events: - BBQs & Sunday luncheons -bowling, swimming, and skating parties - day trips -annual 3-day retreat to Camp Nakamun (7) Outreach - Every summer we gear up for our annual "Community Blast." in Millwoods Park. This is a free BBQ we put on for the families of Millwoods who would like to come for free food and fun! The most recent Community Blast included an Astrojump, "magic" show, face painting, and games. |
